Feathers & Down

As we are a vertical manufacturer, all steps in production and treatment are done in our facilities.
The pre-washed feather and down will be washed again at least three times in an environmental friendly way with natural down detergent and steamed.
Only with this treatment we can guarantee our promise of highest quality and offer you a product that meets highest standards.

Fabrics

The duvets and pillows are made using pure cotton which is carefully processed into the finest yarn.  Fabrics are always pre-shrunk, ensuring they will not lose either shape or stability during washing. 

Workmanship

Washability

All duvets, pillows and mattress toppers are washable at 60 – 90°C and are suitable for tumble drying. This guarantees maximum hygiene and a long service-life without any loss of quality. An individual loses up to 0.5 Iitres of water every night. Increasing numbers of people are also suffering from allergies. All the more important, then, that Mühldorfer bedding guarantees impeccably hygienic sleeping comfort.

Purity

The prewashed feathers and down are washed and steamed in our machines at least three times in an environmentally friendly way with natural down detergent. This is the only way we can keep our quality promise.

Haidmühle

Our production in Haidmühle in the Bavarian Forest is located in the heart of Europe. The path from a small business to one of the leading bed manufacturers for hotels began here in 1919. The location close to the Bavarian Forest Nature Park with its lime-free, crystal-clear mountain spring water provides the basis for the uniquely soft and pure down of the Mühldorfer beddings.
