The wild living Eider duck is environmentally protected and has it's Habitat in the polar areas. The rough conditions there, develop downs of outstanding temperature regulation abilities. With it's own down, the duck creates an insulation for it's eggs, wich keeps the breeding temperature precisely. After hatching, our Farmers are allowed to zollest the down from the abandoned nest. Only from hand it is possible to clean the sensible down from leftovers and small branches in laborious detail work. After this, we wash the down in our Kristall clear spring water and resin it one more time.
